SeaPort - NxG

SeaPort-NxG is the U.S. Navy’s primary electronic platform for acquiring support services across 23 functional areas, including engineering, logistics, financial management, and program management. It streamlines the contracting process, promotes competition, and enhances small business participation, enabling businesses to contribute efficiently and cost-effectively to the Navy’s mission. The platform allows companies to collaborate with Navy Systems Commands and other agencies, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.

Contract Details

SeaPort-NxG is a multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle, offering over 1,800 contract holders the opportunity to engage in government contracting. This structure allows businesses to compete for contracts in a transparent, fair, and efficient manner.

  1. Task Order performance periods can be up to 5 years.
  2. 23 functional areas spanning engineering support and program management support services.
  3. Several contract types available – fixed price, cost reimbursement, award fee, incentive fee, and labor hour terms
  4. No contract access fee
  5. Prime contractors may add an unlimited number of small or large business partners to their teams.
Procurement Method

SeaPort-NxG uses the Navy’s Rolling Admissions process, which allows new industry partners to join the platform and compete for contracting opportunities. This method streamlines the procurement process, ensuring that contracts are awarded in a timely and cost-effective manner.

    • Strategic Systems Programs (SSP)
    • Office of Naval Research (ONR)
    • United States Marine Corps (USMC)
  • Streamlined functional areas
  • Permitted task order types: Cost Reimbursable, Fixed Price, or any combination of the two
