Xcelligen is proud to be an awardee on the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) IDIQ, a 10 year, $151 billion dollar contract designed to advance the nation’s missile defense and homeland security capabilities. Under this contract, Xcelligen is eligible to compete for task orders supporting a wide range of mission-critical needs, including Research and Development, Systems Engineering, Prototyping, Digital Engineering, Modeling and Simulation, Cybersecurity, Cloud services, Data Analytics, and Enterprise IT Modernization. Our proven experience in secure IT solutions, DevSecOps, systems integration, and emerging technologies positions us to contribute meaningfully to MDA’s evolving technical mission and the development of innovative defense capabilities.

Scope

This contract will support national defense objectives by ensuring continuous, layered protection against threats originating from any vector – land, sea, air, space, or cyberspace. It’s a master contract that allows the MDA to issue task orders for various services, from modeling to production and sustainment, rather than buying one specific system. Benefits include:
